Main Event Newark

I came here for the great wolf lodge annual employee appreciation event and boy was it fun!! They had unlimited game cards and bowling, laser tag, ropes course u name it we did it. Me and my sister had so much fun here !! I will definitely be returning again for more fun stuff. Everything was free for the event I did look at prices and they didn’t look too bad or unreasonable. Normal arcade prices. Now the food I was shocked by. The quality was really good given its arcade food. I thought it would be lousy and cold happens to me before at other places but this place surprised me !!

Had a great time with grandson. Only thing that I think could use improvement is the service in the bar restaurant area. Sign said to wait to be seated but no one came. Finally asked if I could be seated guy behind the bar said yes. Waited another 10 minutes before we were waited on. Also after it started to get crowded some of the games didn’t work.

The place is big has so many things to do it's an arcade a bowling alley a bar place to play pool it's really fun for adults and kids definitely coming back had a blast last night

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of DJing a holiday party for the Great Wolf Lodge at Main Event Newark, and I can’t recommend this venue highly enough! Main Event Newark truly has something for everyone. The bowling lanes are state-of-the-art, the laser tag arena is exciting and immersive, the arcade features over 100 games, and the gravity ropes course is a thrilling challenge. Whether you’re hosting a corporate event, celebrating a birthday, or just looking for a fun night out, this entertainment center has it all. The entire staff was so pleasant and accommodating, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the event even more special. The venue itself is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect spot for family outings or group events. Our work team enjoyed the MVP Corporate Package for our safety celebration. Everyone had such a great time, they are still talking about it. The food was exceptional! The fun and games were great!! The Main Event staff was very helpful, professional, kind, and accommodated all of our needs for the day. Much Appreciated!!

UPDATE: We went for our usual date night last night, 9/26/24, to main event. Surprised to see new games and the few broken ones from before were fixed. Also they have a new menu with some great new food in the Family Kitchen. I tried the sliders and they were so good!!! I also loved the Shirley Temple. Can't wait to try out more of the new menu. Also I can't remember the bartenders name but he is just Amazing!! Very Friendly!! We go here for date night every once in awhile and sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's not so good. A lot of the games don't work or are broken where they're not working correctly like the shooting game not having a target that it should have for just one instance. Food is usually good when we go. We always go on a weekday night so I'm not sure how busy it is on the weekends but the weekdays are usually not too busy.

I just had my son's birthday party there. The host was friendly and eager to help with any tasks necessary. Plates, food, game cards, and scheduling were all provided in the cost. The party went smoothly because of all the help. My wife enjoyed the fact she did not have to clean up. I highly recommend planning a party here. If you do pick the Main Event package. It is worth the money.

We had our Christmas party from my work her and everyone enjoyed it. The staff who catered our food were very friendly. The guy who was in charge of doing the zip line looked and sounded like he didn't like his job and didn't want to help us get into our gear. The lady for signing up for the zip line and lazer tag wasn't too friendly either. She came off as unapproachable. The staff at the bar were very friendly and so were the ones to get shoes for bowling. All in all everyone from my work had a great time and had a lot of fun. We will be doing our Christmas party there again next year.
